Hello, I am using the great and versatile Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE) plugin to reduce the amount of visible options for non-WordPress-savvy users like editors etc. I have given this person full access for translating in WPML-settings. Despite that, ASE reduces access to WPML-functions. The choice of WPML-options in the Admin sidebar is reduced to two items. Is there a way to cirumvent that?

    Every hint is appreciated!

@midway88 If you deactivate ASE, does the issue persist?

It’s very likely the cause is not ASE. Admin menu items on the sidebar is primarily controlled by how each plugin registers their own menu item, and one of the settings is who to show it to. It’s likely that WPML limits the visibility of those menu items only for Administrators.

In the free version of ASE, the Admin Menu Organizer module does not truly tremove admin menu items, it only hides them behind the “Show All” toggle.
