    Although I had 2FA set with the app, someone was able to hack my site, change my password, disable 2FA and install a malicious plugin.

    Whilst 2FA is an important part of an overall site security strategy, vulnerable plugins/themes, or a compromise at the host/server level can all be responsible for somebody getting in. As you’re using the standalone Login Security plugin, we would recommend using the Wordfence Security plugin for complete protection.
