• [event] shortcode returns console errors with illegal content returned with the JSON response – looks like it’s returning an html error message. Totally broken our site.

    I have the same problem!

WordPress helped to rollback (restore) the website before the WPEM plug-in update (3.3.3) from yesterday. Sent WPEM tech support a ticket to fix their plug-in.

    Running into the same issue.

WPEM used to be responsive with chat tech support, but now that you have to submit a “ticket” it can take a long time (days) for them to respond to fix an issue. They need to fix the 3.3.3 plug-in issue as soon as possible and advise everyone!

Update causes site to break: “There has been a critical error on this website.”
View version 3.3.3 details or update now.

For those who are using their own versions of the templates – they have changed the naming structure of their functions so the templates will cause a fatal error unless you update them.

Just encountered this issue. This change isn’t even mentioned in the changelogs and it’s a breaking change. Functions like get_event_start_date() are now prefixed with wpem_.

Quite unforgiveable to do this in a minor update with zero disclosure
