Gravatars Help

Totally new to this and Gravatars has me pulling my hair out. Seems I can add gravatars to comment post but there is still a red x box next to the comments. Example:

I’m sure its just something I have to click or unclick in the settings somewhere but i honestly dont have a clue.

Also, if you notice where a user can comment, at the bottom the “Post My Comment” button is missing.
