• This used to be a good plugin, years ago. That’s when the good reviews come from. All the recent reviews show you it has become crap. Recently I purchased the pro version (the only way to have any functionality at all), to try to deal with malware that had infected my site and restore to a clean version before the infection. It did successfully revert to a previous version of the site but didn’t solve the malware issue, I just lost my more recent posts. Then I tried to do a migration to a new site to see if that would solve the issue. But it got stuck at 80% of the import and left the site completely broken, unable to even login in the admin side. I no longer trust it to backup or migrate my site. I reached out to customer support and they were unhelpful and didn’t even respond to my last message (since 1 week now). Not recommended at all.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear about the malware issues on your site because that’s always stressful.

To clarify, All-in-One WP Migration is designed to back up, restore, and migrate WordPress sites. It transfers your site data as-is, so if a site was infected before a backup was made, restoring that backup would carry the infection with it. For malware removal, a dedicated security plugin like Wordfence or Sucuri would be the right tool.

Regarding the migration that stalled at 80%, we’d be happy to look into that if you’d like to reach out to our support team with details.

We understand this wasn’t the outcome you were hoping for and we wish you the best with your site going forward.

Yes obviously I was trying to restore it using a backup made before the infection occurred, as I mentioned. And I did reach out to the support team a week ago and my email was never answered, which is why I made my review. Seems rather telling that my review was answered in 15 minutes but my email remained unanswered after a week.

At this point I have already solved the malware issue manually, and all I would like is a refund.

We apologize for the confusion in our previous response regarding your backup. I believe that your support ticket was addressed and our refund policy was communicated. We understand that’s not the answer you were hoping for.
