Theme Options Missing

    Hi,

    After the latest update, the theme options desapeared from the «Appearance» menu. I’m not really sure if the problem is from the theme (Ascend) or from plugin (Virtue/Ascend/Pinnacle Toolkit)

    Now, I have a new admin menu item «Ascend Options» but with no access to the theme options we used to have at the Appearance menu. The only option here is «Import/Export».

    At the «Getting Started» area (Appearance->Getting Started) when we click on the «Customize» button, at the target link (wp-admin/themes.php?page=kad_options) we get the error message «You do not have permission to access this page».

    In conclusion, I can’t access to all the costumization options I’ve configured.

    This is happening on all the sites I have with the Ascend theme.

    Hi,

    Just so you know, the same thing happens with a new WordPress installation. There are no theme options in either the «Appearance» menu or in the new «Ascend Options». Just gone!

    Hello,

    I am experiencing the same issue with my students’ websites on Ascend!
    The Theme Options menu is gone.
    The home page header has been modified or lost!
    Is there a way to revert to previous, stable versions of the theme?

    Eze posted this in my thread (it worked!):

    I was able to replicate this issue where the Theme Option is missing the latest versions, 1.4.18 and 1.4.19, and it has been escalated to the team.

    In the meantime, as a workaround, you can temporarily downgrade the Ascend theme to version 1.4.17. You can download that version from here.

    I will update you once I have feedback from the team.

    Thanks, the solution work (with the older version) ! Hope they will fix the newer update.
