    A user has 100 points. He pays 30 points for items at checkout (and has a $10 discount). Discount applies (a $10 discount is indicated on the order). But the user’s balance remains at 100 points. The cart is empty. If a user adds a new item to the cart, we see the discount already added to the cart (or checkout) and the 100 points still available.

    I disabled all plugins, clear transients, change the theme to the WP default but still the problem persists. Your plugin is updated to the most recent version.

    Regarding your query, we would like to clarify that reward points are deducted once the order has been successfully placed by the customer.

    Could you please confirm whether:

    • The points are not being deducted after the order is placed, or
    • You would prefer the points to be deducted immediately when the customer applies them at the cart or checkout stage?

    This will help us better understand your requirement and assist you accordingly.

    The points are not being deducted after the order is placed and also points are not being deducted when the order status is completed. Gaining point works well but the deduction does’nt work at all.
