Hello @alwiggins,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your pre-sale questions about FluentCRM! It’s a pleasure to assist you.
First, to answer your primary question: Yes, absolutely! FluentCRM is designed to work seamlessly within a WordPress multisite network. This means you can confidently install.
Regarding your second question about activating FluentCRM on a subsite-by-subsite basis, here’s how it works:
FluentCRM operates on a ‘domain/instance’ model within a multisite setup. This is a crucial point for managing your network effectively. What this means in practice is that while you can not activate FluentCRM on a network-wide basis. This includes its own separate and isolated database for contacts, campaigns, email templates, automations, and all other related data.
Therefore, FluentCRM cannot be activated and shared across multiple sites inside a multisite in a way that would centralize or share data between them. The data for each subsite’s FluentCRM installation is entirely isolated and independent from other subsites in the network. This provides excellent data separation and security, which is often ideal when each subsite represents a different business, client, or distinct project.
The licensing is also separate if you install and use it in multiple sites.
Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any more questions or require further clarification.
