• When I have this plugin activated it will not allow me to bulk import new items ( and that’s after trying 3 different import softwares). It feels very bloated and also slow my system down. If I deactivate this plugin my admin side and front side of website speeds up.

Could you please create a support topic and share a few screenshots or a short screen-recorded video showing the issue? Performance issues during imports can sometimes be related to server resources, conflicting plugins, or how the import tool interacts with other active plugins. That would help us clearly understand what’s happening and work toward a proper solution for you.

We’re more than happy to help and look into this in detail.

    Hi,

Good news – you can fix this quickly with a simple setting change (steps below).

We’re sorry for the frustration you experienced. We’ve reproduced the issue and are already improving this flow, so you won’t need a workaround for long.

    What’s happening behind the scenes:
When FlexStock is active in Real-Time Live Sync mode, it can trigger the Google Sheets API for each product update. During bulk imports, the importer may end up waiting for Google API calls per item, which can slow down the import and sometimes cause timeouts. You might also notice the admin or frontend feels slower during that import window.

    Quick fix (works right now):

    1. Before starting the import, switch FlexStock sync mode to Schedule Auto Sync (set any interval you prefer).
    2. Run your bulk import.
    3. After the import finishes, you can switch back to Real-Time Live Sync mode– or keep “Schedule Live Sync” if that works better for your store.

    Easy!

    What we’re doing next:
We’re working to improve this flow so bulk imports stay fast even when FlexStock is active in Real-Time Auto Sync. This will ensure your imports and site speed remain smooth, while syncing continues to work exactly the way you want.

Thanks for your patience. We’re happy to share that this issue has been fixed and a new version has been released.

With the latest update, bulk imports using the WooCommerce default importer or any third-party import plugin will no longer affect your site speed. FlexStock now handles imports efficiently without slowing down the admin or frontend.

Please update to the latest version and let us know if you notice anything unexpected. We’re always here to help.

Thanks so much for the kind words. We really appreciate you taking the time to share this.

Your feedback helped us identify the issue quickly, and we’re glad we could ship a fix without delay.

If you have a chance to test the latest version again, we’d love to hear how it feels now in your workflow and whether the improvements address what you were running into earlier. Any additional thoughts or experiences you’re willing to share would be super helpful for us and for other users as well.

Thanks again for working with us and helping make the plugin better!
