Product Category Description appears in menu item

    Hi,

    I am trying to include WooCommerce Product Categories as a menu item. However, the menu item displays the Category Description as well as the Category Title.

    Please hover over Prints in the menu to see the sub-category “Wiltshire and Dorset Landscapes”. The menu item should not display the Category Description.

    I have confirmed that this is a theme issue (as opposed to WooCommerce or WodPress Core) by testing it on a different theme.

    Hello @mikepalmer,

    Thank you for reaching out,

    To remove those descriptions, go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Menus.

    At the top right, open Screen Options and enable “Description”.

    Once it’s enabled, you’ll see a description field on your menu items.

    You can clear those values to stop them from appearing: https://postimg.cc/pmS0QY09.

    Then save changes.

    If you want, you can disable that option again afterward so it’s hidden in the backend again.
