• After updating from Elementor 3.33.4 to 3.33.5, several critical front-end widgets stopped working:

    • The Google Reviews / Rating widget no longer renders and disappears completely.
    • Custom HTML/JS widgets (e.g., small interactive tools) only display as static text blocks, and embedded JavaScript does not execute.
    • Rolling back to 3.33.4 immediately restores full functionality.

    Environment:

    • Hosting: IONOS Managed WordPress
    • Elementor Pro active
    • No other changes to theme or plugins except the Elementor update.

    Impact:

    • Essential front-end functionality is broken.
    • Custom tools and third-party widgets cannot be used.
    • A rollback is currently the only way to keep the site operational.

    Expectation:
Please release a hotfix or patch (3.33.6 or 3.34.x) to restore compatibility for Google Reviews and allow custom HTML/JS widgets to function as before.
