403 Forbidden Error Message

    I just installed WordPress and my theme and pages for my site. Every time I try to change any of the settings, I get an error message:

    Forbidden
    You do not have permission to access this document.

    I’ve checked my permission settings and can’t figure out what the problem is. Can someone help me? I’ve never had any problems with WordPress before. I’m using the 3.0.4 and having all kinds of problems. I’ve already had to uninstall 4 different themes because it wouldn’t let me program it.
