The visual editor in Pages and Posts is missing!

I tried deactivating plugins and switching to a new theme to rule them out as causing the issue.

Have you tried:

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

– increasing the memory available to PHP?

You saved me hours of headache. I re-uploading wp-admin and wp-includes folders with a fresh WordPress download and all visual editor items have been restored. Thanks so much!
