    Hi there!

I understand you’d like to simplify the checkout for customers purchasing free virtual products.

By default, WooCommerce doesn’t automatically reduce checkout fields based on product type. However, there are a few ways to achieve this:

    1. Use a plugin – There are plugins like Checkout Field Editor or WooCommerce Conditional Checkout Fields that allow you to show/hide fields based on product type, price, or other conditions. This is the easiest method if you want to avoid custom
    2. Use a custom Code:If you are comfortable with custom code, you can achieve this by using a custom snippet. OR I can recommend WooExperts and Codeable.io as options for getting professional help. Alternatively, you can also ask your development questions in the  WooCommerce Community Slack as custom code falls outside our usual scope of support.

    Thank you

    Hi there,

Since we haven’t heard back, I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved for now. If you’d like to continue the conversation later, just send us a message.

If the support you received was helpful, we’d really appreciate a quick review: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/#new-post
