    Hi,

    WordPress version 6.8.3
    Active theme: Ozark (version 1.2)
Current plugin: Ozark Plugin (version 1.1)
    PHP version 8.2.29

3 years ago I bought a theme named Ozark that came with a free version of Elementor.
I used this to build my portfolio website but today I tried to post some new content and I noticed that I can’t load Elementor widgets anymore (the wheel keeps spinning indefinitely), therefore I can’t add any content to my website. Yesterday I updated to the latest version of wordpress and of my plugins including Elementor but I don’t know if it’s related or not as before yesterday I hadn’t tried to add or update any content in a very long time (more than a year probably).

Also, on my wordpress dashboard, I saw this message today:
    “Elementor Data Updater
Database update process is running in the background. Taking a while?
Click here to run it now” after I clicked I got the following message:
“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
Following this I also received an Email:
“WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Ozark Plugin.First, visit your website (https://nicolasgillier.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://nicolasgillier.com/wp-admin/update-core.php?elementor_updater=continue&_wpnonce=2916996baa) and check for any visible issues.”

Here are the fist lines of the Error details:
“An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 206 of the file /home/u510910634/domains/nicolasgillier.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ozark-plugin/inc/widgets/section-title.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Class “Elementor\Core\Schemes\Color” not found in /home/u510910634/domains/nicolasgillier.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ozark-plugin/inc/widgets/section-title.php:206″

I have read other people’s threads encountering similar issues but I’m really lost as my skills and knowledge of WordPress/website building are very limited. I’m not sure if the problem comes directly from the fact that Elementor was updated or if on the contrary my theme needs to be updated to the latest version (which I can’t from WordPress).
I have tried to deactivate all the plugins but it didn’t change anything.

I would really appreciate your help on that matter as I’m not sure I can figure this out by myself.

    Hi,

No one can help me with this problem?

    Hi @xanadu1983,

The error Uncaught Error: Class “Elementor\Core\Schemes\Color” not found in …/ozark-plugin/inc/widgets/section-title.php indicates that the Ozark plugin is trying to use a class from Elementor that no longer exists or has been moved or renamed in recent versions of Elementor. This typically occurs when a third-party theme or plugin has not been updated to remain compatible with the latest Elementor updates.

Since this issue is related to the Ozark plugin’s code, I recommend reaching out to the Ozark plugin’s support team or developer to report this compatibility issue. They should be able to update their code to align with the latest Elementor structure.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Rica,
Thanks for your answer. I have contacted the Ozark developper and I’m waiting for his reply.

    Best regards
