    When payment for an order is to be taken, the form for credit card details is displayed but the postcode field is missing. When the user places the order, the form submission fails, values missing and then the postcode field appears.

    The Postcode fields has been displayed for numerious years and has disappeared recently. We suspect a recent plugin update (to Version 10.0.1) has broken this.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Navigate to the site and book a ticket for an event into the basked;
    2. ‘Proceed to Checkout’;
    3. Complete the Billing detail;
    4. Complete the Stripe payment detail – note the lack of Postcode;
    5. Hit ‘Place Order’
    6. Form is returned, Postcode has now appeared and markers as missing.

    Hi there!

    I tried to replicate the issue on your site and can confirm that the postcode field does not appear. However, I wasn’t able to reproduce the same issue on my own test site using the latest versions.

    It seems there might be a plugin or custom code on your site causing a conflict. I recommend running a conflict test by deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and the Stripe Gateway, then checking if the issue persists.
    You can follow this guide on how to test for conflicts:
    🔗 How to test for conflicts

    I also suggest creating a staging site to perform this test, so your live site remains unaffected.
    If you still encounter the issue even after deactivating all other plugins, please share the staging site URL and enable Stripe Test Mode so we can investigate further.
    Here’s how to enable test mode:

    You can create a staging site easily using this plugin:

    To help us better understand your setup, please share your System Status Report, which you can find under WooCommerce > Status.
    You can upload it to Pastebin or Gist and share the link here.

    Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further

    This has been resolved. An internal plugin was impacting on the form.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for the update, I’m glad to hear the issue has been resolved.

    Just for future reference and to help other users who may face a similar problem, could you please let us know which internal plugin was causing the conflict?

    If the Stripe Gateway plugin and our support have been helpful, we’d be grateful if you could leave a review, it really helps us improve and supports other WooCommerce users in choosing the right payment gateway.

    Thank you, and feel free to reach out anytime if you need further assistance!
