I am experiencing an issue on my website.Even after disabling the Preloader in OceanWP and turning off Elementor motion effects, the page transition animation still occurs when navigating between pages. I have also tried adding custom CSS and JavaScript to stop all animations, but the transition effect persists.

    My current setup:

    WordPress version: 6.8.3

    OceanWP version: 4.1.3

Plugins active: Elementor, Elementor Pro, Ocean Extra, Ocean Social Sharing, Polylang, Site Kit by Google, Sucuri Security, WPS Hide Login, Yoast SEO

I would like to completely remove the page transition animations. Could you please advise how to fully disable them, or if there is a specific setting in OceanWP that controls these animations?

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello @vince810622,

    Thank you for reaching out,

From the animation style of your preloader, I can tell that it’s not coming from OceanWP. Also, I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue on my end, and no one has reported a similar case so far.

If you haven’t added any custom CSS or custom JS for it, it’s very likely coming from another plugin. For troubleshooting, please follow the steps below and let us know the results:

    1. Enable the parent theme (if you are using a child theme).
    2. Go to WP Dashboard > Plugins.
    3. Deactivate all plugins.
    4. Then, first activate the Ocean Extra plugin.
    5. Check your issue.
    6. Then, activate your plugins one by one.
    7. After activating each plugin, check the issue.

Note 1: You can try troubleshooting on a staging website or a fresh installation. Also, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and plugins. (Before updating, please take a full backup of your website.)

Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache (CDN, browser cache, cookies, etc.), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see the changes. Also, remember to click Regenerate all assets in Elementor > Tools (if you have Elementor).

For your information: if you are using Elementor Pro and this is the cause of the issue you’ve raised in this topic, you need to contact your third-party plugin author. We cannot solve premium plugins according to the forum rules. Please read the forum guidelines: https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff.

    I hope it helps,
    Best Regards
