    Hello all,

I’m trying in all ways to have a newsletter in my site and have the information send to Mailchimp. I have the free version for both. I tried it with Forminator and it works fine but I prefer WPForms as it’s better for me in the long-run.

on WPForms Lite I have the following 2 fields:

    Email (ID #1). Label ‘Email’

Name (ID#2). Label ‘Nombre’ (format simple)

On Mailchimp, from what I understand, it should work like this:

Field Label Data Type Merge Tag

Email Address Email |EMAIL|* OR *|MERGE0|*

    Nombre Text *|FNAME|* OR *|MERGE1|*

However, the information is not being sent nor to Mailchimp nor the email of the person who fills the newsletter (I have double-opt in activated).

Any hints? Am I messing up the Merge Tags?

    thank you all in advance

    Hi @yanezez,

    Thanks for reaching out!

As the Mailchimp addon is part of the paid version of WPForms, could you please drop us a line through our contact page when you get the chance?

You’re welcome to just include a link to this post, if you’d prefer to do that.

I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the WordPress.org support forums for the free version, but I really appreciate your help!

However in the meanwhile, I would be happy to help you connecting WPForms Lite to Mailchimp. For this, you may consider looking into a connector service called Uncanny Automator

Here’s our tutorial on setting up Uncanny Automator to your forms.

You can see the Uncanny Automator’s page for the Mailchimp integration here.

    Thanks 🙂
