• Hi all,

    I am newbie to wordpress.

I installed wordpress on my localhost which has public ip address, registered domain, and dns services. I can access it from outside but
the pages are without cascading stylesheets rendered to it; just plain html pages appear. Locally, the pages display Ok on the the hosting machine but when viewed from other machines on the same local LAN, the pages are display as plain html, no css.

    could somebody help, please,

    thanks

I think I have made it clear as best as I could, that

I did not use url that contains localhost, ie
I did not make something like: http://localhost/blah-blah

To repeat again, I made the following:
    a. installed and properly configured Apache(WAMP) with Mysqld and PHP
    5.3.x
    b. registered A DOMAIN, and cofnigured dns, tested it and working fine.
    c. Then installed wordpress 3.0 on the localhost, which has proper dns,
    and ip address(e.g http://www.abc.com

But still no cascading stylesheets are rendered, even if I visit the website from the Internet ( that is from another public ip address, not the local ip address.

    What is wrong?

    you help needed.

    Greetings to all.

This is my second try and I am still having the same issue.

    I have:

    * completed all the requirements for setting up a website -ie
domain name, dns, and a ready in-house server with LAMP.
    * installed wordpress 3.2.1
web pages rendering fine on installed machine.

The problem is when visited from another machine on the same LAN or from the Internet, pages are not rendered properly. Only shows content but not the rendering the css and other presentation contents.

    Am I missing something?
I need help, and thanks to you all
