Adding WordPress Blog snippets to another website

Does anyone know a way of adding a feed of posts from a wordpress blog onto another website, much in the way you can add a Twitter feed onto a website using their Blogger Javascript File

So that it will access the first few lines of text on each post and then creates a link to that post?

A client is requesting a standard website, that then has a small area on the home page that feeds in the latest posts from their blog.
