• Hi ,

I’m integrating the WooCommerce Authorize.Gateway plugin. I have:

    • Installed and configured the plugin on WordPress + WooCommerce.
    • Entered the API Login ID and Transaction Key from Authorize.Net.
    • Enabled Test Mode on both the plugin side and the Authorize.Net merchant account.
    • Tried with Authorize.Net test card details.

But at checkout I consistently receive this error:

“User Authorisation failed due to invalid Authorization values”

    Could you please confirm:

    1. Whether the plugin requires sandbox API credentials (from sandbox.authorize.net) instead of live account credentials in test mode?
    2. If there are any known issues with the current version of the plugin regarding test mode?
    3. Any logs or debug settings I can enable to better trace what credentials are being sent?

    Thanks for your guidance!

    Hi,

Yes, the plugin requires you to use sandbox API credentials if you are using the test mode. You can enable logging and gateway debug options, and then you should be able to check API endpoints, requests and responses in the log. There are no known issues in the plugin.

    Hi,
Yes, that issue has been resolved. I am currently using the sandbox API, and everything is working fine. Could you please let me know if I can test recurring payments using the sandbox API and this plugin, or is the Pro version required? Also, are there any specific settings I need to configure on the sandbox API platform?

    Thanks!

I have reviewed the details of your plugin and noticed that it allows subscription setup and testing with the paid version. My question is: if I purchase this plugin https://pledgedplugins.com/products/authorize-net-payment-gateway-woocommerce/, will any additional plugins be required to set up subscriptions, or will it fully enable recurring payments?

    Hi,

I have a merchant account on Authorize.net (both sandbox and live). On my website, I currently have only one product that I offer for free — customers only pay the shipping fee. I want to set this up as a subscription so that, after the first month, customers are charged for both the product price and the shipping fee.

If I purchase the WooCommerce Subscriptions, will this setup work for me? I’ve already added some custom code to make the first order free (charging only shipping at checkout). Will your plugin and WooCommerce Subscriptions handle this automatically, or will I need to configure additional settings?

Also, I’m unable to share my website URL publicly. Could you please let me know how I can send it privately for review?

I hope I’ve explained everything clearly. Looking forward to your guidance and a possible solution.

    Thanks

WooCommerce Subscriptions supports free trials, so you should be able to set a month’s trial and pair it with paid shipping. However this is not a question I can answer with certainty as I have not come across that situation. This is a question you can ask the WooCommerce team directly.

Our plugin “supports” WooCommerce Subscriptions, which basically means it only creates an automatic charge through Authorize.net whenever WooCommerce Subscriptions creates a pending renewal order, and acts as a link between WooCommerce Subscriptions and Authorize.net. It plays no part in the pricing, shipping or subscription logic, so I cannot answer for you any questions for a scenario I have not come across personally.
