Hi, I use the plugin on several sites I have had to reconnect several times today. It posts a couple of times then access is revoked and I have to repeat the process. It’s the same on all sites as far as I can make out.

    Error code:

Current Authentication StatusAn error occured, the error reported by LinkedIn is: 401 The token used in the request has been revoked by the user

    Hi @ryanf84,

Are the sites connected to the same LinkedIn account or different accounts?

Was it working ok in the past and this issue just started happening? Or are you setting up the site for the first time? Is the issue still persisting?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

It’s been fine for a couple of years, never an issue.

They are all connected to my account and post to different pages, I’ve just had to reconnect again. I probably had to do it 10 times yesterday.

    Thanks

    Ryan

If you reconnect now, is it any better or not? At this stage, I haven’t received any reports for this. And also just checking, you are using the latest version of the plugin?

    Thanks,

Hi thanks for coming back to me.

All up to date. It seems that if I can connect one account it undoes the rest of them. Maybe Linkedin has changed something. I can get other people to use their accounts for it. Just a bit of a pain.

    Hi @ryanf84,

Thanks for that info. What you are saying could be possible, that authenticating with one account may boot off authentication on another, although it was my understanding that LinkedIn allows multiple authenticated sessions per an account. I will need to do some more testing later today. If it is true, unfortunately, I don’t really have a way around that. Thanks,

I have the same disconnection problem with just one account. I’m using the last plugin version. The connection can be used just one time and disconnects. The message I received on plugin control panel is: ” Current Authentication StatusAn error occured, the error reported by LinkedIn is: 401 The token used in the request has been revoked by the user”

Another error message: “Something went wrong, the error reported by LinkedIn is:Β 400 Bad Request {“error”:”invalid_request”,”error_description”:”Unable to retrieve access token: appid/redirect uri/code verifier does not match authorization code. Or authorization code expired. Or external member binding exists”}. Please try again later or if the issue persists please visit the Help tab.”

    Hi @riovagas,

Sorry you are experiencing an issue. I am trying to repeat the issue on my end but I am unable at this stage. Are you able to recheck again by going to the “Connect” tab in the plugin settings and clicking the “Connect with LinkedIn” button?

    Thanks,

Hi, @northernbeacheswebsites. It seems working now after new logins. I will report if connection broken again.
