BEGINNER with Questions about single-page setup

Hey guys this is my first time attempting web design. I am a Colorist looking to get my first website up and I have chosen the Inspiro-lite “Business/Portfolio” theme because I want to use video and a portfolio. I have a few basic n00b beginner questions, please be kind!

First question is I have an example website that I want to show you from a fellow Colorist.

They use a different template provider but the principle of what I want to achieve in Inspiro-lite is the same.

So first thing is, I want everything all on one page like they have on their page.

They have a header menu with 6 items: Home | Work | Services | Testimonials| About | & Contact |

When you click on each menu item, instead of opening a new page, It smoothly scrolls down to that section on the main page, so for example if you click on | Work | it smoothly scrolls down to the next section of the website called Work where there’s a portfolio/gallery – if you click on | Services | in the header, it’s smoothly scrolls down to |Services|. The other header menu items work the same.

Would I be able to have the same functionality in Inspiro-lite? I can see that there is a pulsating down-arrow on the hero section that does this. Can that same functionality be built into the header menu items?

The second thing that I wanted to ask is when the user will click on the portfolio section is it possible to have the video open up immediately without having to go one more level deep into another page where you open up the video.

So if I click one of the portfolio thumbnails it opens the video immediately without loading another page, is it possible to do that? And then the third basic question is where do I actually start editing the supplied copy ? 🙂 when I look in the what do you call it? The composer? I don’t see anywhere where I can actually edit the copy. Where do I actually edit the copy of the website? I hope these aren’t too annoying for beginner questions, but I’m really just at the start of this.

So just to reiterate, I want everything on one page. I want my menu items in the header when I click on those menu items to gently scroll down to that section of the page, I don’t want them to have to open another page, and I’d like to open a video immediately from a thumbnail and not have to open another level deep to watch the video.
