Hi – we give our clients Editor access as opposed to Admin and they do not see Event Types as an option at all in the Dashboard and on a single event page, the Types are grayed out so they cannot click on them. This is true if they are adding a new one or trying to edit an existing one. Please fix! Thanks!

    Hi @engeniusweb,

Thank you for writing to us!

The restriction on adding, editing, and deleting event entities is intentionally limited to top-level roles to safeguard against unintended modifications.
However, you can enable the Editor role to manage event taxonomies (event types, venues, and organizers) by assigning the manage_em_event_terms and edit_em_event_terms capabilities, allowing them to add and edit these elements.

If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
