Missing field “mainEntity”

    Hello,

    I am getting a notice that my author archive page is missing the “mainEntity” field. Do you have any guidance on how to fix that? Or, is it, perhaps a known bug?

    Hello @socialamyw,

    Thanks for reaching out. I confirmed the error occurs on that one profile but the others are fine. Do all the authors have the same user role on the site? Do you have a plugin that creates users like a guest author plugin?

    Hello,

    I would like to resurface this issue. I removed the author plugin, but the “mainEntitiy” field is still missing on my author archive page.

    Do you have any other ideas on how to resolve this?

    Did you filled the Biographical Info fileds for author page?

    I completed that information in the user profile. Is there somewhere else I should put it?

    Hmmm – I think I may have resolved the issue. Are you able to see that from your end? I just submitted the fix for validation in Google Search Console.

    So, you know, I was using PublishPress Authors. I disabled that plugin and added the author box using another method instead.
