So any idea why it has stopped working?
I know a bunch of people that have had this happen, myself included, and so far nobody seems to know what’s going on.
I think I’m going to have to give up on Tweet Blender, since I use it on professional sites and I can’t just leave it up there broken. It’s too bad, I really liked this plugin.

Yeah I’m still somewhat hoping that there is a fix, I’ll give it one or two days, but sadly then I’ll have to give up on it, shame as it would have been a really nice plugin.

Checked your site. You have keywords that you filter out and it looks like there were multiple escapes of the quote. As a result, the search query that the plugin is running is as follows:
http://search.twitter.com/search?&q=@wpmayor%20OR%20from%3Awpmayor&lang=all¬s=%5C%5C%5C%5C%5C%5C%5C%22New%20post%3A%5C%5C%5C%5C%5C%5C%5C%22
If I remove the extra slashes the search works fine:

I also noticed that the filter is not really removing any tweets so for the immediate solution you can simply remove that “New Post” keyword under WP Admin > Settings > Tweet Blender > Filters tab.
I’ll check on the bug that adds extra slashes but won’t have a fix for awhile as I took Tweet Blender apart for a major overhaul and am still putting it back together.
@gregjch: what’s your site and what’s the problem? Who are the other people that have issues and what are their sites’ urls?
kirilln, my site is http://lilscrap.com/tweetblender and I haven’t been able to refresh tweets for weeks. At first I thought it was temporary and would resolve itself, but it didn’t. Since I’m back to working on the site again I figured I should try to get this resolved.
After re-installing multiple times, deleting all TB references from the DB, and so on, I’m still unable to refresh tweets.
I thought maybe it was because I hadn’t tweeted in a while, so I checked the “Do not use search API for screen names” option so that it wouldn’t use the search (as my twitter username wasn’t showing up at all in search), and still nothing showed up.
Then I tried unchecking this option and tweeting a couple times so there was some fresh content, and the tweets still didn’t show up.

I removed that New post filter but Im still not having any tweets show up on the site. Anything else I can do from my end? Thanks
Well, after a bunch of re-installing and wiping information from the database, everything seems to be working now. Except for Chrome.
All’s well in IE & Firefox, but Tweet Blender only seems to work with the Canary build of Chrome, it doesn’t work with the regular, beta, or dev versions.
It definitely used to work though, so something in Chrome must have changed at some point. Canary’s updated more than all the other builds, so if they reverted whatever they changed that made it not work, it makes sense that Canary would now work. And hopefully the change gets carried through the other versions now.
Good to hear you got it running. As far as Chrome, is that on Win or on Mac?
