I’m working on a stage site with Wooodmart theme and i’ve uploaded the mu that you suggest in your documentation, but I can’t see the placeholder that should appear before accepting cookies. I see an empty space.

I’ve tried to I delete the mu plugin, but in that case i can’t see the map even if i accept cookies and i’ve an error in the console.

If I deactivate the plugin everything works fine but the map obviously isn’t blocked.

    Can you help?

    Hello @nummu4 ,

I’ve reviewed the article and tested the integration listed there before replying, and I can confirm that it works correctly, both when the Google Maps service is enabled in Integrations > Services and when it is not.

What might be happening in your case is that there are other integrations active in the plugin that also interact with Google Maps, such as the ACF integration. To start troubleshooting, we recommend disabling all plugin integrations in Integrations > Plugins, saving the settings, clearing both the WordPress and browser cache, and then testing again as visitor.

If the issue still persists after that, please let us know the theme version, which block you’re using, and which other plugins are active so we can investigate further.

    Best regards,
    Antonio

    Hi,

I’ve tried to disable all integrations (Facebook, Google Font, Google Maps and Whatsapp) and clear all caches. The placeholder isn’t there, but if i accept the cookies the map appears.

I’m using Woodmart 8.2.7 (the child 1.0.0) and the block is Google Map (by Xtemos).

    The other plugins are:
    B2BKing Core
    B2BKing Pro
    Chaty
    Complianz – Termini e Condizioni
    Contact Form 7
    Elementor
    Loco Translate
    MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress
    Members
    OMGF
    Safe SVG
    TranslatePress – Multilingue
    W3 Total Cache (not active)
    WooCommerce
    Woodmart Core
    WooPayments

    Hello @nummu4 ,

    Thank you for the details.

In this case, it might be that the plugin is unable to properly recognize the class used inside the theme. You could try a couple of steps, such as placing the map in its own block or grouping it inside a block where it’s the only element. This can sometimes help Complianz detect and apply the placeholder correctly.

Please give this a try and let us know if it makes a difference. You could also share us the url, if possible of course.

    Best regards,
    Antonio

The map is already in its own block.

I’ve managed to make it appear setting up a lazy load and a poster image directly in the element. In this way it seems to work with my own placeholder and not with the one of complianz. But it’s ok.

    Hello @nummu4 ,

    Thank you for the update.

I see, if that works for you, it’s good to know. But if you’d like us to take a closer look, please share your site so we can inspect it directly.

    Wishing you a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Antonio
