“Hide icons” works in the preview, but the flags still show when the switcher is added as a Gutenberg block. Other settings like names and colors work fine. Any idea what I’m missing?

    Hello,

Thank you for reporting this issue to us.
I have reproduced the issue and notified our development team, and it will probably be resolved in the next update.

This problem only affects the shortcode language switcher. For the floating language switcher or menu item, the Hide Icons option works as expected.

As a temporary solution until the fix is implemented, you may:

    • Use the floating language switcher or a menu item instead of the shortcode.
    • Alternatively, you can revert to the previous language switcher by enabling the “Load legacy Language Switcher” option. This setting is located within the TranslatePress Advanced Settings, under the Troubleshooting tab.

Thank you for your patience; I will let you know as soon as the fix is available.

    Kind regards,

    Anca
