Hi — I discovered that litespeed changed the names of some of my images, which has caused links that were attached to them to be broken. The names of the images are the same, with a hyphen and some numbers added to the end. For example, the image “chat-G.png” is now “chat-G-e1752641588323.png.” I don’t see a way to change image names on WordPress, so I tried to re-add it and its original form, but WordPress saw it as a duplicate and added a 1 to the name, thus defeating the purpose. I also tried disabling the LiteSpeed plug-in, but that didn’t fix the issue either.

What I need to know is how to undo whatever I did that caused this to happen? Thank you

no, our plugin does NOT re-name images

it must be something else did it , do you have any other media-related plugin in place ?

I have seen cases like this where some image optimization plugin or CDN service that re-name and opitmize images on-the-fly

@mel2337 or your site is using: sanitize_file_name that has a hook added to rename files

I appreciate your getting back to me on this I thought it was lite speed but I am using a CDN service so your response was quite helpful! Thank you very much.
