    Yes. I had to download the images from backup and convert them to .jpg then re-uploaded.

    Is there any way, so the plugin does not delete the existing .webp images?

    Another question, Since the plugin is now running, client can upload/use and actual .webp images? Or they have to upload .jpr/.png images?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Imagify does not have any functionality to delete your existing images. If you noticed broken images on the frontend, it could only be related to the picture tag method when delivering Next-Gen formats. You can find more details on this here:

    And yes, you can upload .webp files directly to your Media Library. Imagify will attempt to optimize them, but if there is no further room for optimization, it will simply leave them as they are.
