TripAdvisor reviews aren’t downloading

I’ve seen a couple of support threads with the same issue. I also saw that apparently a update was done that should resolve it, but for some reason I am still experiencing issues with the downloading of TripAdvisors reviews. Within the plugin settings is keeps on stating:

Your reviews are being downloaded. This process should only take a few minutes. While you wait, you can start the widget setup with some review templates. I am not sure if I set something up wrong or if there is maybe a plugin conflict.

I’ve tried reconnecting to TripAdvisor and now it also does not want to connect it anymore. I get the following error within my browser console: Uncaught TypeError: can’t access property “count-by-rating”, res.place.reviews.details is undefined.

I’ve disabled all other plugins, except for the essentials ones, and still the same result.

Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Could you check if you’re using the latest version of the plugin?

If you do, please try re-creating the plugin.

To re-create the plugin, go to the “Advanced” menu and click the “Re-create” button to reset it. Then, in the “Free Widget Configurator” tab, follow the setup steps again to properly configure the plugin.

Hi @liditrudex,

I’ve just checked and I am using 13.1, which seems to be the latest version right now.

I’ve also tried the “Re-Create Plugin” option under “Advanced” multiple times and still no luck.
