    Hi,

I’m currently using LiteSpeed Cache on my WordPress site and I want to make sure that using Advanced Database Cleaner is fully compatible. My goal is to clean up database options and entries that LiteSpeed doesn’t handle.

For example, I have leftover entries from Astra and Ezoic that I no longer use, such as astra-settings and ez_adtester_config. I want to remove these orphaned options to avoid loading unnecessary data on every page and improve database performance.

Can you confirm if Advanced Database Cleaner can safely handle these types of options alongside LiteSpeed Cache without causing conflicts?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Yes, Advanced Database Cleaner works perfectly alongside LiteSpeed Cache. The two plugins serve different purposes: LiteSpeed handles caching and front-end performance, while Advanced Database Cleaner focuses on database optimization and cleaning.

You can safely use ADBC to remove leftover or orphaned options. Cleaning these entries helps reduce autoloaded data and improves database performance without conflicting with LiteSpeed.

    Kind regards,
    Younes

    Hi Younes,

Thanks for your response! I know LiteSpeed Cache offers some basic database optimization features, but they’re not as comprehensive as what Advanced Database Cleaner provides.

For example, I’d like to remove entries such as:

    • astra-settings (I haven’t used Astra for years)
    • ez_adtester_config (I haven’t used Ezoic for years)
    • GDPRCookieConsent-9.0
    • CookieLawInfo-0.9

I no longer use any of these, so I believe using your plugin to clean them up should be safe, correct? Of course, I’ll make a full backup beforehand.

    Kind regards,
    Juan

    Hi Juan,

Yes, you can safely use Advanced Database Cleaner to remove those unused options. Since you no longer use the related plugins, these entries are considered orphaned.

As you mentioned, making a full backup beforehand is always the best practice before any cleanup.

    Kind regards,
    Younes
