Inventory/Booking Systems

I was just wondering has anyone has used wordpress for the following, and can recommend a solution:

I have a client who has an entertainment company, renting out party equipment, (floats, air castles, dj equipment, etc.), and would like to have a booking system that would help him to schedule events, and track when equipment is available. Also interested in doing some inventory/invoicing.

Is there a solution like this for wordpress?
