Featured Image caption Short Code without Image

Hi there, I am customizing templates for the output of articles and others post types and I wonder if there’s a way just to show the Image Caption for the featured image? There is the shortcode [FSM_featured_image], but it adds another featured image. I could hide it with CSS by adding “display: none”, but I suppose it would be easier if the image isn’t added in the first place. So what I basically need is just the caption text itself 🙂
