I’m currently using the free version of the Widgets for Social Photo Feed plugin. None of my instagram reels are being pulled in, just the images. From what I can find online it says all posts including videos will be pulled in. Is this a feature that is only on a paid account?
Please check the following points regarding Reels not showing:
When you connected the plugin to your Instagram account, did you make sure the “Reels” option was selected? If not, Reels won’t be displayed in the feed. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://snipboard.io/2HFbM7.jpg
If the post is a collab (collaboration) post, unfortunately those cannot be fetched due to Instagram API limitations.
If the Reel includes music with copyright restrictions, Instagram may prevent it from being accessed by third-party tools like ours.
If none of the above applies, please let us know which Instagram account or website is yours so we can take a closer look.
@lacadev Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, I’m not seeing a spot where I can select reels. It just says connect/reconnect. Is there another spot I should be looking? Or maybe I need to disconnect and start from scratch? For some reason my image won’t upload but here is a screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wmr4RU26T2gVNoTsA2x5CIdhHotPEghS/view?usp=sharing

Yes, please go to Feed Configurator → Connect Instagram, and disconnect the currently connected source. Then, reconnect your Instagram account – as part of the connection process, you’ll be able to select both Reels and Post sources.
Make sure the Reels source is checked during this step so the plugin can display your Reels content properly.
@lacadev Thanks for all your help. It’s still not pulling in my videos lol. I’m guessing it could be because of music, although I always use things that are “free for commercial use”.
The issue is most likely related to one of the reasons mentioned above. To investigate further, please send us the Troubleshooting text. You can find this in the plugin’s Advanced tab under the Troubleshooting section. Click on “Copy to clipboard”, paste the contents into Pastebin, and share the link here.
We’ll be happy to assist you further once we have that info.
