Autocomplete Search start only after 3 characters

Hi,
I would like to suggest a feature where the autocomplete search starts only after a user start typing 3 or 4 characters (can be set via settings). This will greatly reduce the volume of searches used and the hits made to the algolia server.

yes it works well, but still when the user type very slow, it just add extra searches and increases the cost to a great extent, where the search volumes are high. You can consider it in future, as it will surely help many people.
I have added it to the plugin at our end and it works well and reduces the search volume by 50% without affecting the user experience –
