• A key feature of a plugin like this should be the ability for customers to choose a delivery date directly on the website. While I was provided with a list of compatible plugins, unfortunately, none of them worked reliably in practice.

The first plugin I tested seemed promising and successfully passed the date and time to Shipday – using the correct European format. However, Shipday was unable to process this information properly. This issue likely stems from the fact that Shipday has only been partially localized for the European market. For example, although it’s possible to switch from miles to kilometers, the time format still defaults to the 12-hour system, and key parts of the interface remain untranslated.

Another major drawback is that many of these missing translations cannot be fixed manually, as the system runs on Shipday’s servers and offers no direct access for customization. While the support team responds quickly, their answers have so far failed to lead to any real solutions.

    Conclusion:
This plugin has potential and could become a valuable tool – once the developer finishes properly adapting it for international use. At its current stage, however, it’s not practical or usable for the European market.

  • @taohi I also have major issues with Shipday and they only give me more plug ins to resolve problems which never work. Have you found another program that works better than Shipday?

For various reasons, I decided to build my own plugin that goes far beyond what Shipday offers. Above all, the data remains on my server. The customer receives a tracking link where they can see exactly how many stops they have left. They receive a text message 30 minutes in advance. None of the products on the market meet my needs. We also have deposits that need to be refunded, and there was no reasonable solution for that. For a pure delivery service, there are certainly one or two options that are sufficient.

Thank you for responding, I was wondering if your plug in available in WordPress? What are the other options you mentioned?

No, it is not available on WordPress, as it has been tailored to my needs. Generally, i would recommend you to search on YouTube for delivery plugins. Most of them are made for classical delivery services. None of them met my needs. The better you know what really need, the easier it will be to find something useful.
