I blog about mathematics, and I would like to create text with a titled box around it, for definitions, theorems, lemmas etc. I haven’t been able to find anything from my searches on both google and the plug-in directory.

I would greatly appreciate being pointed in the right direction!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Do you perhaps have an example where others have done something similar to what you would like to do?

I think you should be able to enter it normally in the editor. You can also center the formula – it’s just normal text. I don’t think you need anything special for that.

So this is what I have so far, and it seem that your solution was so simple that I didn’t give it a thought 😀 Thanks!

One further question, there is too little space between the end of the shaded area of the definition and the surrounding text. Do you know how make it match the space between the text and the beginning of the definition?

It depends on which block you used to create it. With many blocks, you can specify outer and inner margins under Styles. Here is an example using the Paragraph block:https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/paragraph-block/#dimensions
