    Hello,
i’m currently testing Wordfence on a non-live site.

My goal: I want mail alerts when a plugin/theme update includes security-related fixes.
So i installed a plugin with a known (admin-side) vulnerabilty.
In the „Email Alert Preferences“ I checked „Alert me with scan results of this severity level or greater: High“.

When the scan has run for the first time it detected the plugin update and sent an email „Wordfence Alert“.
    So far so good.

I didn’t receive any more emails for the next few days, even though the scan was running.

A few days later i activated „Enable email summary: Once a day“ in „Activity Report“.
Now i get a complete summary every day.

Is there a way to receive alert emails after each scan until an error is fixed?

    Thank you

    Hi @stevesat

The plugin won’t send an alert email for the same scan result more than once so as not to send too many emails to keep reminding site owners to fix the scan result. However, we do intend to add an option to the scanner settings where site owners can choose whether to have repeated scan alerts for prior scan results if the scanner continues to list them on subsequent scans.
