How to remove emojis from password strength labels (e.g. Worst, Bad, Good)
-
Hi,
I’m using the Ultimate Member – Password Strength Meter plugin and I would like to remove the emojis that appear next to the password strength indicators on the front-end form. For example:
- “Worst ☹”
- “Bad ☹”
- “Weak ☹”
- “Good ☺”
- “Strong 💪”
These emojis are not present in the translation files (
.po/.mo), nor in the source plugin strings—they seem to be added programmatically.I tried removing them via custom translations and Loco Translate, but the emojis still show up.
Is there a way to hide or remove these emojis using a filter or CSS override? Any advice or hook recommendation would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
