• Hi, do you know of any issues with this tool and the Elementor page builder? Also, after the conversion to webp, can the plugin be deactivated and removed, or does it need to stay active? Many thanks!

    Hello,

We’ve resolved the known incompatibility with Elementor Page Builder. If you encounter any further issues while using the CompressX plugin, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

To continue loading images in AVIF and WebP formats after conversion, the CompressX plugin must remain active.

    Kind regards.

Oh, so there’s no way to convert and replace the existing images where I don’t need the plugin after the conversion is done?

Hello, for your website to display WebP and AVIF images on the front-end, it needs the rewrite rule and picture tag configurations from the CompressX plugin. Deleting CompressX will remove these essential settings, preventing your images from loading in WebP and AVIF formats.
