I have your plugin, but it is not converting my jpeg images to webp, which is the sole reason I downloaded it. The most recent of my images are converted to webp b/c I am using a code snippet that converts them as they are uploaded. However, the first half were downloaded before I learned of this trick so I downloaded your plugin to convert those existing images and they are all jpegs still. I have gone into the images tab and confirmed WebP conversion is enabled. I also checked for uncompressed images and none are shown. I deactivated your plugin, along with all others and then activated and refreshed image list and still not working.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @shannonsadik!
Sorry for the trouble you’ve encountered with WebP conversion.
To confirm if your images are being served in WebP format, please activate the WP-Optimize plugin and enable WebP conversion. Also, provide the URL to any page you used to determine whether WebP is working or not.
To ensure accurate results, I’ll suggest temporarily disabling the code snippet you’ve applied for conversion.

Let us know once the above is done so that we can investigate.

    Kind regards.

Yes, as I mentioned above, I deactivated and again activated your plugin , but no change. I have confirmed settings are correct. I did disable the code I have for the moment. Here is a page (scroll down a little) with a large gallery of images, many of which are jpeg when they should be webP: https://heronpondhideaway.com/about-adirondack-vacation-rental/#gallery

Ok, I Had to deactivate the plugin. I noticed the Advanced text from Royal Elementor Plugins on my home page wasn’t working so disabled all plug ins until I figured out this is the culprit. I don’t know what setting could be causing this issue? I need to leave it off until we can figure out the solution because otherwise the main text in hero section is incomplete.

    Hi!
For issues relating to the Royal Elementor Plugin, try disabling merging of JavaScript and CSS at WPO > Minify > JavaScript and WPO > Minify > CSS respectively. If the issue persists, disable Delay JS option at WPO > Minify > JavaScript.

As for the webP conversion, we are unable to investigate with WP-Optimize deactivated. Let us know when its activated so we can have a look.

    Kind regards.

I had to disable all three in order to get Advanced Text to work. Is there a way to fix this or something REA can do? It defeats the purpose of having this plug in if I had to disable all of the things I had enabled. My website speed is terrible and I am trying to do everything i can to optimize my site right now.

    Hi!
I would suggest excluding CSS and Javascript files related to the Royal Elementor plugin at WPO-Optimize > Minify > CSS > Exclude the following CSS files from processing and WPO-Optimize > Minify > JavaScript > Exclude JavaScript from processing respectively.

Let me know how that goes.

    Regards.

Can you tell me specifically what to write in the exclusion boxes or where I can find that info?

    Hi!
To find applicable Royal Elementor files to exclude, start by temporarily disabling Minify. Next, inspect the web page and navigate to the Source tab as shown in this image. Locate the Royal elementor path to see JS and CSS files you can exclude.

On my end, both cache and minify options of WP-Optimize work fine with Royal elementor. So its possible that the issues you are facing is due to conflicts with another plugin.

    Regards.

Yes, several plug ins pushed updates over the last few days and the issue has been resolved for the REA advanced text issue so I have enabled WP Optimize and disabled the code to save new images as WebP. Please take a look now at the following link: https://heronpondhideaway.com/about-adirondack-vacation-rental/#gallery for examples of some. However, there are 72 images that are .jpg and have not converted so you will find them all over my website, on every page. This is the same amount whether the “Create WebP version of image” is enabled or not. The check doesn’t seem to do anything.

Following up on the status of this. I have 72 images slowing down my site. Need to fix this asap.

Chose another plug in and deleted this. Disregard.
