Classic editor: inserting links in post not working

    Link editing does not appear to be working in the classic editor. I am trying to insert an external link for a blog post, but the URL can’t be inserted/edited with Control+K as I am able to do here.

    All my plugins are updated.

    Running Firefox in Windows 11

    I am running WordPress version 6.8.1

    EDIT: just tried to reproduce this problem in Edge, but it appears to be unique to Firerfox
