Page content shown in the default language and not in the translated language

Hi there!

Divi Builder: 4.27.4
TranslatePress Standard: 2.9.18
(Caching plugin) SiteGround Speed Optimizer: 7.7.2

Translate Press > Advanced Settings > Troubleshooting – options currently active
Fix missing dynamic content
Filter Gettext wrapping from post content and title
Filter Gettext wrapping from post meta

Translate Press > Advanced Settings > Miscellaneous options
Enable the hreflang x-default tag for language – disabled/unticked

When here: https://gerolatsitis.com/en/ and click anywhere in the first section “Rise 20”, after hero section, takes user here: https://gerolatsitis.com/en/project/rise-20/.

The correct language subdirectory prefix is applied to the URL and in the page HTML code, in the 1st line, we can see that the correct language encoding is applied:

<html lang="en-GB" class="js"><head>
```
But the content of the page stays in the default language (greek), instead of the translated language (english).

I cleared all caches, duplicated the project page, backed up website db and did this: Optimize TranslatePress database tables, but nothing worked. I noticed that this only happens with this specific project, https://gerolatsitis.com/en/project/rise-20/, like if the content page or its URL got corrupted somehow.

Can you help?

Hi,

Do you have the content translated in this language if you open the Translation Editor on it and select a few strings?
If not, you should manually translate the content string by string, or enable automatic translation.

The issue only happens when I’m not logged in WordPress.

Yes, the content has been translated to the destination language and that can be seen in the Translation Editor.

Also, just want to add that this happens for the 5 projects present in the homepage: https://gerolatsitis.com/en/.

When the user clicks on any of the 5 projects sections links, in the pages below, the content is shown in greek when it should be shown in english:

Hi,

Please, make sure you translate those strings using the Logged Out user role from Translation Editor. See if this makes the difference.
