I am looking to build a questionnaire on my website on the topic of color analysis for men and women.

The workflow needs to be be something like this.

Have a login in/ create account button on my website main page >

user then enters name, email address >

congrats your account has been created, check your email to validate your account >

lead goes to email and clicks on link and is taken to quiz main page >

Lead clicks on start quiz >

enters answers to about 10 questions >

needs to enter their email address and name >

gets shown a selection of styles from various brands of clothes in the best colors for them (this probably needs logic to identify the right colours based on the answers received, also the links will be affiliate links) >

lead gets taken to the product page and can purchase if they wish.

I see this as having 2 parts:

    1. Developing the questionnaire with the logic (don’t want this to be AI) rather a constructed around if, and, or functions
    2. A platform to fetch links from a variety of apparel and accessories sites and display them in a structured manner (similar to LTK)

Firstly, I have very basic knowledge of web design but would like to attempt this myself to build my experience.

I don’t know if this is the right sub to post this. As I said programming is kinda new for me.

    Btw I use elementor.

With which plugin do you want to realize the sale of the products? This should be crucial to answer your question as the questions should lead to the products.

im not sure which plugin will “point” to the listing pages. But it needs to be an aggregator of some sort. An online search has yielded results like sorry and pory but unsure how they may work.

The shopcolorbook.com website is a good example of what I would like to acheive.

I don’t think you realize what my question was about. If I understand correctly, you want to enable users to have certain products displayed as recommendations via a question-answer dialog. They should then be able to buy them. To process the purchase, you need a store system, including payment methods and possibly delivery conditions. Which plugin do you want to use for this?

Background to the question: only when it is clear which system you are using for the products can you be told how you could implement the question and answer dialog. Ideally, the questions and answers are based on the product data.

On your example page, you apparently have to register to see what you want to show there as an example. I cannot and will not do that.

Hey. I don’t want to sell the products through my website. I just want to have the products organized and displayed as recommendations but these should be affiliate links on cards. So I would not need to store or ship any products.

To answer your question I currently use woocommerce and strip/ PayPal for payment.

The website I sent you is not mine. However the workflow is similar to what I want to build for my website (stylnafali.com).

The only difference to that website and what I want to achieve is that I would like to have conditional logic built into the questionnaire so that it outputs answers from an array of 16 options.

For example, after answering all the questions, the lead is typed as X, then they should be shown products in X category. Is they are typed Y, then they should be shown products in Y category, etc. As mentioned earlier the products will be affiliate links so the lead will be taken to the website of the brand selling the product.

Hope this makes sense. if not, let me know.

Now I know a bit more precisely what it’s all about, but I don’t know a ready-made solution for it either. There are some plugins that use the term you used: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/questionnaire/

You can make pretty good surveys with this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/survey-maker/ – you might want to contact their developers about your case and see if they have a solution.
