Forminator forms do not submit

    Hi,

    all Forminator forms on my website stopped working. The site is running the latest Forminator version on the latest WP.

    The submit button does not seem to do anything and in Console I get the following error: contact/:1 Uncaught (in promise) null

    I tried AJAX – then the form does not load at all. With AJAX disabled the form loads, but the submit button does not do anything. No submission is registered and no emails sent. No error message is shown on the site.

    It happens on all forms on the site.

    Hi @italpasta

    I hope you are doing well today.

    I cannot check the console errors as it seems that the site uses some plugin that stops checking that. Are you able to disable that plugin or feature?

    Please note that each site is different, as it possibly uses different plugins or themes. In the WP repository, there are over 60,000 plugins, and some of them possibly exist on that site. Taking this into account, there is a risk of new potential conflicts.

    Would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins, apart from Hustle, and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme from 2019, and see if it works.

    Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.

    Also, please try to reinstall Forminator plugin, in case the last update was not complete ans some files can be missing.

    Hi,

    I did a conflict test by disabling ALL the plugins except Forminator and switching to TwentyTwentyFive theme. The submit issue persists.

    However, disabling Popup Maker solved Forminator AJAX form not loading. Which is weird, because I use both plugins on other sites successfully without any issues. The two go together like peas and carrots.

    I also tried changing the form submission mode from AJAX to POST (old-school page refresh). Didn’t help either.

    I also reinstalled the plugin. No success there either.

    Moreover, nothing useful was captured in debug.log either.

    I adjusted the Secure Copy plugin to allow Console use. Please check. This is really a big issue for me. It might have started with the latest WP version though. I’m not sure.

    Hope you’re doing well today!

    I was able to replicate the error on your contact form, however, I also notice that you have enabled Google ReCaptcha on Forminator which is added to the form but contains invalid keys – meaning that the site keys that you’ve added are not linked to the current website URL.     Could you please navigate to Forminator >> Settings >> Captcha >> Configuration >> ReCaptcha and reconfigure it with the current site URL and add the new keys there and check if the issue is resolved?

    many thanks for helping with this. It’s unfortunate that no error message was visible. I hope this gets adjusted in future versions as it would save valuable support time. The culprit indeed was the reCAPTCHA. That issue is solved now – the form submits.

    HOWEVER, once I enable the Popup Maker plugin, AJAX Forminator forms do not load. For now I disabled AJAX loading as a workaround, but would love to AJAX them again as soon as possible.
