Hello there @bougiedogwear ,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you would like to set up. It sounds like a great idea to engage with your customers after their purchase, and I am happy to confirm that yes, this is definitely possible with MailPoet.
You can create an automation that triggers after an order is marked as Completed and then adds a 14 day delay before sending your follow-up email asking for a product review. MailPoet’s Automations feature gives you the flexibility to set up these kinds of workflows quite easily.
Of course, feel free to reach out to us if you need any more help or have other questions and we’d be happy to help.
Thanks for replying. Is it possible to include their order in this email showing the product(s) they purchased with links to the corresponding Product Review area?
Hi there @bougiedogwear,
First, I just wanted to make it clear that a review ask email like this is considered a **marketing** email instead of a **transactional** email.
Transactional emails are emails that are essential to the operation of your shop. For example, new order notifications to the customer, or order complete notifications, are considered transactional.
**A customer does not need to provide opt-in consent to receive transactional emails.**
However, the review request email will be considered marketing. This means it will only be sent if the WooCommerce customer has opted-in to receive marketing emails from your site. They would have to check off the “subscribe” checkbox on your checkout page, and confirm their subscription, to receive this email.
Going forward, if you set up the automation to send an email after 14 days and wish to include their order, you can do this by adding the “Dynamic Products” block to your email.
Once added, click the block and adjust the options to show “Order Products” like this:

This should embed links to each product they ordered in the email. They can click on each to add a review to that product’s page.
