Hello @creatoridisogni,
Thank you for reaching out to our support team, and I appreciate the detailed explanation of your setup.
While our older WP Forms integration isn’t something we currently support, we do offer other reliable options that work well with Sprout Invoices.
For a more streamlined setup, we recommend using either weForms for simple form handling or Gravity Forms if you need something more flexible and powerful. Both can connect with Sprout Invoices to automate invoice creation based on form submissions.
Alternatively, if you’re already using WooCommerce, our integration supports product-based billing and can be paired with Sprout Invoices’ recurring invoices to handle subscription-style payments. This setup would give you automated invoicing with minimal overhead.
All of our paid licenses include PDF invoicing, and customers can download their invoices at any time. If you need to offer additional downloadable files within the user’s account area, that can often be handled with as well with Sprout Invoices, depending on the structure of business needs.
Let me know if you’d need any assistance as we are happy to help where we can.
Thanks,
Elana.
Hi Elana, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have now set up all my websites using WP Forms, I have invested and am already working with this plugin, so I now have to find a solution to work with it, I can’t go back and buy new plugins and recreate a good part of the site from scratch, therefore, although I’m sorry, I will have to find an alternative solution to your Sprout Invoice that allows me to work with WP Forms. Thanks for the support, good work.
Andrea
Hello @creatoridisogni,
Thank you for your understanding, and I completely appreciate your position. It sounds like you’ve already made a solid investment in WP Forms, and I totally get that switching things up now isn’t feasible.
If you ever need any help finding a way to integrate with Sprout Invoices feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help in any way we can.
Thanks,
Elana
Hi Elana, any suggestions you can give me to integrate WP Forms with Sprout Invoice are welcome. Currently I have managed to create a connection between WP Forms and the Sprout Invoice database, which effectively creates an invoice once the form is submitted, but the form data is not updated in the invoice. Unfortunately, since there is nothing to draw information from (the plugin’s information link is disabled) I am sailing in the dark. Come and say, if you have information to solve the question it is welcome. Thanks, good work, Andrea
Hello @creatoridisogni,
Thanks for reaching out and for the kind words!
It’s great to hear that you’ve already made progress connecting WP Forms with Sprout Invoices. While the plugin is no longer officially supported, I can try to point you in the right direction.
We do have a Sprout Invoices API example Snippet that can be used to create invoices. Gist to API Generation.
You could use that to map the fields from WPForms into Sprout Invoices. If you remove the Check Query and change the add_filter with the fields you have mapped.
I hope this helps a bit! Wishing you continued success with your setup.
Elana.
