    Hi,

I’m trying to use your plugin Freesoul Switch Theme to change the theme on a few posts of my website, selecting the theme and checking the “Check it to always use a different theme for this page…” checkbox, but it doesn’t seem to work.

The theme changes correctly when the post is a draft and I preview it (https://www.angelvillazon.com/?p=11354 It will change even if you can’t access the post because it’s a draft, it should have a yellow background if the theme changes), but once the post is published the theme no longer changes (https://www.angelvillazon.com/?p=11350 it should have a yellow background if the theme changes and a black and orange if the theme doesn’t change). May the problem be related to the permalinks?

If I add the permalink URLs to the EOS_SW_CUSTOM_URLS variable on wp-config.php, the theme changes correctly.

There are no cache plugins on this WordPress installation, and the server doesn’t seem to use any cache (adding a query argument to the permalink doesn’t change the theme). I would not want to disable or change the current permalinks.

    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi again,

Because it seems this plugin is no longer maintained or is abandoned, I have finally solved the problem myself by editing your plugin code.

(The test posts of the links on my previous message have been removed, the links are no longer valid, but it seems I can’t edit the post to remove them)

    Anyway, thanks for the plugin.
