    Hello,

on my site pakorama.it, the price filter no longer works (it used to work, many days ago, I don’t know what has changed) I have tried different price filters but none of them work.

If I try to scroll with the mouse, the price is stuck, it’s either on the minimum (0) or the maximum (10). I tried both from Safari and Chrome, but it’s the same….

    Can you help me?

    Thank you very much

    Hello roberta04,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand the price filter on your site is stuck at either the minimum or maximum value and is not working across different browsers.

Since this filter is part of your Woodmart theme, I recommend contacting their support for a solution. They will be better equipped to assist you.

Please let me know how it goes with the theme support.

    Best regards.

    Hi Zubair,

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I have already spoken to Woodmart support, but they couldn’t solve the problem and told me to contact you, here you can already see our conversation with theme support:

    Hello roberta04,

    Thank you for your reply.

I checked the link you shared and it appears that Woodmart redirected to WooCommerce support because you are using a default WooCommerce widget.

To clarify, I am referring to this Price Filter widget.

I checked the HTML code of the widget it looks like a feature of the WoodMart theme. To confirm this, could you edit the Filter Widget and share a screenshot of the edit page? I want to see how this filter widget is created. You may use https://snipboard.io to upload images and share links here.

I look forward to your response.

    Best regards.

    Hello roberta04,

    Thank you for your reply.

I checked the screenshot you shared and then created a price filter on my test site to compare it with your site. As a result, I noticed a significant difference between the Price Filter on your site and the one on my test site. The Block structure is different and the HTML code is different. This suggests either the Price Filter modified by theme or plugin on your site.

Here are screenshots from my test site:

I suggest you switch to a default theme like Storefront and check if that affects the Price Filter on your site. If it does not, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and check again.

My goal is to find out what is modifying the price filter’s default function and appearance.
Once we find that out, we can fix the price filter.

Looking forward to your response. 🙂

Hi Zubair, thank you so much for your time.

    1. You know there are 3 types of price filters, and I think the one you tried, is not the one I use, that’s why it’s different. I’ll put you a screenshot ( https://snipboard.io/bfCsr8.jpg) to make you understand better, I have put all 3 filters now, and as you see there is a filter that looks the same as yours. Unfortunately I have already tried all 3 and none of them work.
    2. I’ve already tried to change theme and see if the filters go like this, but unfortunately when I change theme, I don’t find the filters anymore ( Appearance > Widget) I don’t know where to find them…

    thank you very much.

    Hi there!

Thank you for trying all the filters. To determine whether the issue is related to the theme, please try activating a theme that does not support the Full Site Editor.

If you do not see Appearance -> Widgets, it indicates that you are using a theme that supports the Full Site Editor.

Could you please activate the Storefront theme and then try adding the widget to see if you still face the same issue? Also, could you provide more details about the exact price filter you are using so that I can try to replicate the issue on my site as well?

Also, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status

Please use https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share a link to that paste in reply here. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

    Hello, thank you!

I have activated the Storefront theme, but the filter still does not work. You can check it here: https://staging2.packorama.it/categoria-prodotto/flaconi/.

The filters I am using are the ones I mentioned in my previous ticket. They are called “Filter by Price” and “Filter Product by Price.” I’m not sure what other details to provide, as there are no specific settings for them.

Here is the system status report: https://pastebin.com/xptUiZZ2.

    than you very much,

    Hi there!

I’m unable to access the staging site link as it’s requiring login credentials. Could you please remove the privacy restriction so I can view the site?

Also, please add the “Filter by Price” widget and deactivate all plugins on the staging site except for WooCommerce.

I’m suggesting this because I tried to replicate the issue on my test site but wasn’t able to. I suspect there may be a plugin on your site that’s causing the issue. I noticed you’re using Relevanssi and Relevanssi Live Ajax Search, which could potentially be affecting the filter functionality.

Once you’ve deactivated all plugins and removed the privacy restriction, please let us know so we can further investigate the issue on the staging site.

    Hi, thank you very much.
I deactivated all plugins and removed the password,
    now you can see it:
    https://staging2.packorama.it/categoria-prodotto/vasi/
I put in ‘filter by price’, but it still doesn’t work…
    thank you very much

    best,

    Hi @roberta04

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I had a look at your website, and it seems like the issue you’re seeing is tied to your product pricing. Since all the products in your category are priced below $1, the filter widget is working as it’s supposed to. It’s designed to adjust the price range based on your product prices.

If your products are priced between $1 and $10, you should be able to adjust the filter range accordingly. If there’s no product priced at $11 or above, the filter will show 10 as the maximum price and you can’t adjust it to 11 or higher, and if a product is priced below $1, the minimum price will show as 0.

A quick way to test this would be to create a new test category with demo products priced between $1 and $10. This will let you check how the filter works.

    I hope this helps!
